👉 25,000 French retailers to indirectly accept Bitcoin

EasyWallet is a mobile cryptocurrency wallet with big plans for adoption. Like many other crypto-spending apps, the wallet hopes to facilitate everyday purchases using cryptocurrencies by acting as a middleman.

According to a French news outlet, 25,000 French stores are set to indirectly accept Bitcoin as a result of EasyWallet’s expansion plans. Brands include multinational names such as Decathlon and Sephora, as well as local ones.

👉 IOTA to collaborate with Linux Foundation

IOTA is a cryptocurrency project that was originally designed to facilitate the IoT (Internet of Things) world with fast, low-cost transactions. In short, IoT is the vision of millions of devices — fridges, alarm systems, smartphones, computers, and more — communicating with one another independent of humans.

As such, it comes as big news that IOTA will be collaborating with the Linux Foundation on developing LF Edge, a framework for IoT devices. The partnership will bring IOTA’s expertise in ledger technology to LF Edge.

👉 Bakkt: $600,000 Bitcoin futures bought in 24 hours

Bakkt, the much-awaited derivatives trading platform from the Intercontintenal Exchanged, just recently launched its Bitcoin futures contracts.

According to Bakkt itself, more than 63 Bitcoin (approx. $600,000) of futures contracts were purchased within just 24 hours.
