👉 Singapore blockchain accelerator to partner with IBM

Tribe Accelerator is a Singaporean, government-backed blockchain accelerator. It’s already helped blockchain startups raise tens of millions of dollars.

The accelerator has announced that it will be bringing on IBM, as well as other big names such as Citibank and Ubisoft, as corporate partners. These partners will look to make it easier to bring the accelerator’s many startups to market.

👉 NBA player to tokenize latest contract as investment

Spencer Dinwiddie is a 26 year-old NBA player for the Brooklyn Nets. Last December, he signed a 3-year contract extension for $34 million.

Dinwiddie has announced plans to tokenize this contract in investment form. The project will allow investors to pay up front in exchange for a cut of his sports’ earnings.

👉 Talk of Shapeshift offering users free KeepKey wallets

Shapeshift is a popular service for instantly exchanging cryptocurrencies. As a result of the need for KYC, the service now requires users to sign up, but previously gained much attention for not having that requirement.

Several Shapeshift users have announced that they’ve received special links to claim free, KeepKey hardware wallets. It’s unclear why the service is doing this, but it’s likely to be a marketing effort.
