Alabama senator Richard Shelby has blocked a bipartisan amendment to the Infrastructure Bill, after failing his attempt to tag-on a boost to military spending.

The amendment – which would have rectified ambiguity in the cryptocurrency tax-related section of the bill – may have been the last viable chance to edit the bill before the original is put forward for a vote.

Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX has reached “unicorn” status, now valued at $1.1B following its Series C funding round.
