👉 Amazon Denies Bitcoin Rumors, But Is Interested In Crypto

Amazon has denied rumors about the company accepting Bitcoin payments within the year, but has acknowledged that it is interested in cryptocurrency.

Reports surfaced yesterday about an unnamed Amazon insider’s claims that the company would soon begin accepting cryptocurrency payments.

The company says that it recognizes the future will be built on new payments technology, and that it “hopes to bring that future to Amazon customers as soon as possible”.

It has been reported that US officials are investigating stablecoin company Tether’s executives for bank fraud.

According to Bloomberg, the Department of Justice is determining whether Tether concealed the nature of its transactions relating to crypto in its earlier years.
