Anchorage Digital, which owns the first federally-chartered crypto bank in the US, has announced that it will be launching an Ethereum staking service for institutions.

The feature will enable institutional investors to collect ETH rewards on their custodied Ether after its shift to proof-of-stake, both in the form of block rewards and transaction priority fees on the network.

The date for Ethereum’s mainnet merge is estimated to be around August 2022, however this could be delayed further depending on development.
