👉 Bank of Korea Begins Digital Currency Testing Program

The Bank of Korea has begun a testing program, which will examine the technological and legal requirements for launching a central bank digital currency.

They believe the program will conclude in 2021, however the bank has said that it is unlikely it will be launching a digital currency in the near future.

A law firm from the United States has served 11 lawsuits to companies including Binance, BitMEX, the TRON Foundation and others.

The lawsuits accuse the firms of facilitating the sale and trade of unlawful securities, and come from the same law firm which has been representing the Kleiman estate vs Craig Wright.

👉 Binance Confirms Acquisition of CoinMarketCap

Binance has confirmed that it will be acquiring cryptocurrency aggregator CoinMarketCap, in a deal that will reportedly comprise of equity and the BNB coin.

It is claimed that the business model will shift away from being ad-based, opting instead for a subscription model which will charge exchanges to be listed on the website.
