Popular cryptocurrency exchange Binance has launched Binance Pay, its payments app, in public alpha.
The app is a peer-to-peer platform which allows users to send and receive payments in over 30 different cryptocurrencies, as well as supporting several fiat currencies.
Merchant-based transactions are among the new features available in the alpha release, which is available to all eligible users on the Binance exchange.

WisdomTree is the latest company to file for a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) product, with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The company is a fund management company which has been creating ETFs since 2006, and plans to list shares of the ETF on Cboe’s BZX Exchange.
