👉 Binance US to open deposits on Wednesday

Binance, the world’s most popular cryptocurrency exchange, had previously banned American users from its service for regulatory reasons. Since then, the exchange has decided to create a regulatory-friendly US counterpart called Binance US.

The service is set to open deposits starting on Wednesday, at 8AM Eastern Time. To begin with, supported assets will include Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and USDT.

👉 Deloitte tests Bitcoin salary payments (again)

Deloitte is one of the “Big Four”, a group of four major accounting and consulting firms that operate across the globe. Previously, the company experimented with paying salries in Bitcoin, but has since stopped.

Deloitte has once again launched Bitcoin salary payments for its employees, thanks to the help of BitPay. It’s unclear whether this move affects employees around the world or just in North America.

👉 Akon says Bitcoin is “better” than the Dollar

Akon is a well-known American rapper, who just so happens to have an interest in cryptocurrencies.

Recently, Akon said that Bitcoin was “better” than the US dollar, which has no value. What’s more, the rapper is set to launch his own cryptocurrency, Akoin.
