👉 Bitcoin Mining Company Bitdeer To List Publicly Following $4B SPAC Merger
Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer Technologies has entered a $4B merger agreement with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), Blue Safari Group Acquisition Corp.
Bitdeer Technologies is owned by Jihan Wu, former chairman of the Bitcoin mining giant Bitmain. Wu’s ownership of Bitdeer was a result of a Bitmain business split, which occurred at the end of 2020.
👉 Acala Wins First Parachain Auction On Polkadot Network
Decentralized finance platform Acala has won the very first parachain auction on Polkadot, securing $1.3 billion in contributions.
Acala beat Ethereum bridge Moonbeam for the slot, leading the auction for a larger proportion of time – despite Moonbeam gathering more contributions in total.
Five winning Polkadot parachains will go live in mid-December of this year.
