👉 Bitcoin Wallets Bricked by Apple Mac Update

Electrum Bitcoin wallets have been bricked following the latest Apple Mac update, preventing users from opening the app or loading their wallets.

According to the team, the root cause of the issue is still unknown, however a new release of the wallet has been designed to circumvent the problem.

The bug is believed to be caused by the way the new update treats the programming language Python, which was used to build the Electrum wallet.

Traders appear to be betting against Ethereum 2.0’s Phase 0 launch being executed on time, according to prediction markets on Polymarket.

Phase 0 – the beginning of Ethereum 2.0’s beacon chain – is scheduled to take place on December 1, and requires a minimum of 524,288 ETH to be deposited into the Ethereum 2.0 staking contract.

Cryptocurrency exchange Liquid released a blog post today confirming that it was hacked on November 13th.

The hack did not involve funds held in the exchange, however may have compromised user information after the hacker accessed the exchange’s domain records.

Liquid claims that the hacker may have accessed the company’s document storage.
