Derivatives-focused exchange BitMEX plans to offer futures contracts for a potential Ethereum hard fork โ€“ collateralized with Tether (USDT) and trading under the ticker “ETHPOW”.

Major proof-of-work (PoW) proponent Chandler Guo has launched a campaign in opposition to the upcoming Ethereum Merge, planning to launch and support a PoW fork of the network.

BitMEX launches ETHPOWZ22 futures tomorrow, with maximum leverage of 2x and expiry at December 30 2022.

Retail trading app Robinhood has listed Avalanche and Stellar Lumens to its platform, bringing the total number of cryptocurrencies listed on the app to 15.

Cryptocurrency giant Crypto.com has obtained registration licenses to operate in South Korea, via an acquisition of payments company PnLink Co. and exchange OK-BIT Co.

The licenses obtained were an Electronic Financial Transaction Act license and a Virtual Asset Service Provider license, which will enable Crypto.com to legally bring its products and services to the South Korean market.
