Cryptocurrency payments processor BitPay have announced that they’ll be supporting payments made in XRP for businesses, before the end of 2019.
BitPay are extremely well established in the space, processing over USD$1 billion in cryptocurrency payments. Merchants using BitPay include Microsoft, Lush, and the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks.

Ohio made headlines in 2018, as it became the first US state to accept payments in cryptocurrency (Bitcoin).
The payment method has now been suspended, however, pending formal authorization from the Attorney General.
