👉 BlackRock To Offer Crypto Access Via Coinbase Prime
Asset management giant BlackRock will be offering its institutional customers access to cryptocurrency through a partnership with Coinbase, starting with Bitcoin.
Clients using BlackRock’s Aladdin portfolio management software will be able to directly access crypto using Coinbase Prime, a platform that provides custody and advanced trading capabilities.
BlackRock manages around $9 trillion worth of customer assets around the globe.
👉 Meta Rolls Out NFT Support Across 100 Countries
Meta has begun a roll-out of its support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in 100 countries, on the Instagram platform. The move includes integrations with Coinbase Wallet and Dapper.
A Meta Twitter announcement also revealed Instagram will also soon provide support for the Flow Blockchain. Testing is also currently underway for the feature on Facebook also.
👉 Starbucks Looks To Launch Web3 Rewards Program
Starbucks is looking for release its own Web3 rewards program, according to interim CEO Howard Shultz on this week’s earnings call.
The rewards program seeks to build on current engagement, using “new methods of emotionally engaging customers.” Shultz mentioned digital collectibles as rewards and for community-building.
