👉 Bitcoin Fund to be Launched on Ontario Stock Exchange

3iQ, a Canadian investment fund manager, has received approval to launch a Bitcoin fund on the Ontario Stock Exchange.

According to 3iQ, it will be “the first regulated, major exchange-listed bitcoin fund in the world”.

The instrument is expected to be ready for launch by the end of the year.

Daily transaction volumes are on the rise to year-long highs, in anticipation of Ripple’s “Swell” conference.

Swell is an annual invite-only event, which analyses global financial trends and issues in remittances. This years event will be held in Singapore, on November 7-8.

The deadline has arrived for 31 countries, for which Bittrex will no longer be providing exchange services.

The original announcement came on October 18, just months after 42 coins and tokens were delisted from the platform.
