👉 China Blocks Crypto Data Aggregators CoinGecko & CoinMarketCap

Major cryptocurrency data aggregators including CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap have reportedly been blocked by China’s internet firewall.

Access to crypto-friendly charting service TradingView has also been cut, adding to the restrictions brought about by the PBoC’s recently published anti-crypto measures.

It has also been reported that WeChat groups relating to cryptocurrency have begun to close and relocate to other messaging platforms.

Developers of Immutable X, an Ethereum Layer-2 scaling platform, have raised $12.5 million is less than an hour via a sale of its native IMX token.

720,000 registrations were made for the sale, with 25,000 of these users successfully participating in the sale. The IMX sale was hosted by CoinList, an early investment platform for tokens.
