👉 Coinbase Offers Exit Packages To Staff Unhappy With New Company Direction
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has offered “generous separation packages” to employees who disagree with the company’s new “apolitical culture”.
The exit package offer appears to be a response to backlash to Armstrong’s recent open letter, which said Coinbase would not engage in “broader societal issues”.
Packages will include six months’ severance for long-term employees, or four months’ severance for newer hires. Six months of health insurance will also be included.
