👉 Coinbase NFT Marketplace Launches In Beta

Coinbase’s long-awaited non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace has launched in beta for select users, who will be able to buy or sell on the platform.

The marketplace will accept connection from any self-custody wallet, such as the Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask, and will be free of transaction fees for a limited time. Although only select users are allowed to transact on the platform, it is still viewable to all users.

More than 1.5 million users signed up to use Coinbase NFT since October, when the waitlist was first opened.

👉 Australia Launches First Bitcoin ETF, Two More Funds On The Way

Australia launched its first Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) yesterday, as Cosmos Asset Management’s ETF begins to offer Australians with hassle-free Bitcoin exposure.

Two spot crypto ETFs are also set to begin trading next week, as 21Shares looks to launch a Bitcoin ETF and an Ether ETF in partnership with ETF securities. The funds will hold its assets in cold storage via Coinbase Custody.

👉 MakerDAO Launches On Layer-2 Platform StarkNet 

Stablecoin protocol MakerDAO has deployed on Layer-2 scaling platform StarkNet, expecting to become fully operational in Q3 of this year.

The move continues to expand the MakerDAO and Dai (DAI) stablecoin ecosystem across Ethereum-based scaling solutions, following the launch of DAI bridges on Arbitrum One and Optimism in 2021.
