Crypto City to be built in Nevada desert – November 5

Looking at the daily charts, Bitcoin is actually down a few dollars for today’s candle. However, yesterday saw a moderate hike in the cryptocurrency market’s prices, which has culminated in a Bitcoin that’s up just under 2% over the last 24 hours.

As you can imagine, the market has followed. Ethereum and Ripple are up 3% and 5% respectively, with other altcoins behaving similarly. The exception is Bitcoin Cash, which is trending down a few percent on the daily following a recent fork.

Crypto City to be built in Nevada desert

Cryptocurrency tends to be associated with other futurism concepts like artificial intelligence and smart living, since, after all, the idea of a decentralized currency with no fees is pretty futuristic.

Perhaps this is what’s spurred lawyer and cryptocurrency investor Jeffrey Burns to develop the idea of a crypto city, which is set to be built in the Nevada desert and has already seen a supposed $300 million of investment.

Ripple to open Dubai office in Q4

The Ripple Foundation and their proprietary token XRP are continuing to expand their reach, with the goal of revolutionizing (but not necessarily replacing) the traditional financial system with cryptocurrrency technology.

With that in mind, Ripple is set to launch a new Dubai office by the end of this year, with reports of more than 200 partners!

Tokyo airport drivers to accept Bitcoin

Ahh, the adoption debate. It’s hard to have a discussion about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies without someone asking where their real world application lies, since nobody wants to accept silly internet tokens for their products and services…

Well, apparently someone does. Remixpoint is one of Japan’s leading taxi services, responsible for a sizeable portion of Tokyo airport’s hire-car passengers, and they are supposedly implementing Bitcoin payments for their rides!
