👉 CryptoBridge Exchange to Shut Down

Well-known decentralized exchange, CryptoBridge, has announced that it will shut down December 15th.

The firm stated that it made the decision with regards to market conditions and increasing regulation, as well as an inability to fund further development.

All users are required to withdraw their funds before mid-December.

👉 Ethereum Developer Arrested for Sharing Expertise with North Korea 

Ethereum developer Vigil Griffith has been arrested for going to North Korea to participate in a cryptocurrency conference, where he was allegedly assisting the country in avoiding US Sanctions.

Griffith was denied approval to attend the conference, however decided to proceed with the trip, allegedly travelling via China.

👉 Bank of Japan Releases Report on Central Bank Digital Currency

The Institute for Financial Research under the Bank of Japan has released a report outlining legal issues involved with releasing a central bank digital currency.

Despite the bank’s deputy governor earlier denying any plans for releasing their own digital currency, the Japanese central bank appears to have sustained interest in the subject.
