EOS steals users’ computing resources
EOS is a controversial cryptocurrency, mainly for its questionable code origins and governance systems. While it’s the fifth largest crypto out there, bugs are still popping up on a weekly basis.
The latest of these allows malicious users to lock up others’ RAM by running code on their account, which adds table rows to the names of any users who send them transactions.
Brave browsers hits 10 million downloads
Brave is the ad-free, crypto browser that rewards you with Basic Attention Tokens in exchange for watching ads. While the monetary benefit alone is what gets users trying the browser, many have been pleasantly surprised by how it performs.
The Android app for Brave has just hit 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store, which means it’s doubled its user base in less than half a year.
