👉 Ethereum Alliance to Create Smart-Contract Rating System
Quantstamp, MythX, and others have teamed up to launch the “Ethereum Trust Alliance”, which will develop a smart-contract rating system.
The system is intended for use by individuals, to assist in determining whether or not a smart-contract is secure.
Currently, the average user must rely on the word of the smart-contract creator, and/or a third-party audit of the contract.
👉 $2.8B Laundered Through Crypto Exchanges in 2019
A report from Chainalysis has claimed that over $2.8 billion dollars in cash and assets were laundered through cryptocurrency exchanges last year.
According to their tracking methods, over 50% of the funds were laundered through Binance and Huobi, likely through OTC brokers.
👉 4,000 BTC to be Auctioned by US Government This Month
US law enforcement officials will be auctioning off over 4,000 Bitcoin on February 18th, with a market value of about $37 million.
The 4,000 BTC will be broken down into different-sized portions for the auction, and bidders will be required to make a $200,000 deposit to participate.
