Fundstrat sets $2270 Bitcoin target – February 8

As a whole, the cryptocurrency market has shot up an impressive 9% today. Bitcoin itself is up just under 8%, while XRP and Ethereum have risen by 7% and 13.5% respectively.

Litecoin is the cryptocurrency posting incredible gains today, amounting to some 29%, following a short squeeze on leveraged markets. EOS and Bitcoin Cash are also posting considerable gains: 16% and 10%, in just 24 hours.

Fundstrat sets $2270 Bitcoin target

Tom Lee is the crypto bull behind market research firm Fundstrat. In 2018, he made a number of hopeful Bitcoin predictions, claiming that the coin would end the year at a $25,000 price tag — a prediction which he eventually lowered to $15,000.

In spite of his gung-ho predictions for Bitcoin in 2018, which closed the year shy of $3800, Fundstrat has set a $2270 target for Bitcoin in the first quarter of 2019.

Switzerland stock exchange to use blockchain

SIX is the top stock exchange in Switzerland, a country home to a great number of wealthy European individuals.

The SIX exchange is looking at implementing blockchain technology in its operations, a move it hopes will result in higher trading speeds with added security.

13% would buy Amazon cryptocurrency

Investing.com recently conducted a survey pertaining to the Amazon brand, asking individuals which products they would feel comfortable buying “under the Amazon brand.”

13% of users responded that they would indeed feel comfortable buying cryptocurrency from Amazon, as compared to the 73% who would feel comfortable buying computers from the marketplace firm.
