👉 G20 Countries Issued with Recommendations for Stablecoin Regulation

The Financial Stability Board, a board which overlooks the G20, has issued a report consisting of ten recommendations for global stablecoin regulation.

The recommendations are designed to reduce the risks presented by global stablecoins such as Facebook’s Libra token, when used as a mode of payment or value storage.

👉 Huobi Launches Automated Tool to Freeze Suspicious Accounts 

Huobi Exchange has launched a tool to examine transaction data on its platform, in an effort to detect illicit accounts and behavior on the exchange.

The program, Star Atlas, will monitor behavior patterns in real time and freeze accounts until a compliance officer follows up on the cases manually.

👉 China Establishes Committee for Blockchain Standards

The Chinese government have announced that they have established a 15-organization committee, which will create national standards for blockchain.

The 15 organizations come from a range of backgrounds and includes names such as Baidu, Tencent, The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Zhe­jiang Uni­ver­sity.
