👉 Google Resumes Crypto Ads Following Policy Update

Google has resumed support for cryptocurrency advertising, following an update to its financial products and services policy.

Ads for initial coin offerings (ICOs) will still be disallowed, however cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets targeting US customers will now be permitted as long as they meet requirements such as registration with FinCEN.

The platform will prohibit advertising for DeFi protocols, the purchase or trading of specific cryptocurrencies, and celebrity crypto endorsements.

👉 DeFi Derivatives Platform dYdX Launches Governance Token

DeFi derivatives trading platform dYdX has launched its very own governance token today, beginning with an allocation to past users of the protocol.

The DYDX token will be used to vote for future decisions such as upgrades to the protocol, in a similar way to Compound’s COMP token and Uniswap’s UNI.

👉 FTX Signs Sponsorship Deal With League Of Legends Publisher

Crypto exchange FTX has signed a 7-year deal with Riot Games, the video game publisher behind League of Legends.

As part of the deal, FTX will have its logo displayed during the North American tournament, League Championship Series (LCS). According to Riot Games, it is the biggest sponsorship agreement to date for an esports league.
