👉 House Committee: Facebook should halt crypto project

The United States House Committee on Financial Services is a branch of the United States House of Representatives that manages all financial matters.

A group of Democrats in the House Committee have called for Facebook to halt its cryptocurrency project, in a letter addressed directly to Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, writing:

“If products and services like these are left improperly regulated and without sufficient oversight, they could pose systemic risks that endanger U.S. and global financial stability.”

👉 POS experts Kappture point to Nano for crypto payment

Kappture is a UK-based provider of Point of Sale (POS) systems, with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. They recently published a whitepaper on integrating cryptocurrency in POS systems.

In the whitepaper, Kappture points to Nano as the cryptocurrency of choice for taking payment on the blockchain. It compares the coin to others such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and EOS.

👉 1.4m Chainlink moved out of Developer Wallet

Following news a Google blog post showing how Chainlink can be integrated with the Google Cloud, Chainlink has had a good few weeks. The project has risen to almost 8x its value since the beginning of May.

1.4 million Chainlink tokens have been moved out of the project’s Developer Wallet. However, the funds in this wallet are not accounted for in the currency’s circulating supply, meaning that 1.4 million tokens have effectively been printed!
