The Huobi global exchange faced difficulty following the Chinese crackdown on crypto, with most of its users being based in China. An expansion into the US market may provide the boost needed, however the business would still require a money transmitter license.

Crypto broker Voyager Digital has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, just a matter of days after freezing activity on its platform – including customer withdrawals.

A court filing and statement from Voyager Digital shows that it has around $1.3 billion in crypto assets, $350 million in cash and $650 million in claims against Three Arrows Capital – which also filed for bankruptcy last week.
