👉 RBI Denies Outright Ban of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency

According to reports in India, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has denied that they placed an outright ban on Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

Rather, they have restricted a handful of companies – including banks – from dealing in cryptocurrencies, in an effort to prevent illicit activity.

There is no current restriction on the wider public from trading or using cryptocurrencies.
