👉 India Soon To Ban Crypto Again, According To Anonymous Official

Bloomberg has reported that an anonymous Indian Finance Ministry official says the country’s government will soon place a new blanket-ban on cryptocurrencies.

The source also claims that once the ban is set, crypto holders will be given between three and six months to liquidate their holdings.

India’s Supreme Court had already overturned the Reserve Bank of India’s 2018 blanket ban on cryptocurrency, however the Ministry of Finance proposed legislation in 2020 for a new ban.
