👉 Intel Announces Cryptocurrency Mining Initiative

Chipmaker giant Intel has revealed that it is diving into the cryptocurrency mining world, producing energy-efficient application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chips for mining.

Argo Blockchain and Jack Dorsey’s Block (formerly Square) are set to be the first to receive the company’s specialized chips, which Intel claims have 1,000 times better efficiency than mainstream GPUs for SHA-256 mining.

The move is somewhat controversial, raising questions about the true decentralization of PancakeSwap and other decentralized exchanges. Other countries including North Korea, Cuba, Iraq and others are also included in the geofencing ban.
