All of this week’s price growth has been reversed within the last 24 hours, with the market average plummeting 5.5%. Bitcoin and Ethereum are both down around 6%, while XRP is down less than 4%. Almost all coins in the top-20 are down 4% to 7%; Tezos is down 3% and Ethereum Classic is managing to break even following yesterday’s pump.

π INX files with SEC for blockchain IPO
In late 2017, we saw the cryptocurrency market explode with a whole host of ICOs — Initial Coin Offerings — which were effectively the crowdsales of cryptocurrency projects’ tokens. However, a fair few of these sales have been deemed illegitimate by the SEC, and there are surely more to come.
A company called INX Limited has just filed with the SEC to launch an IPO entirely conducted on the Ethereum blockchain. The result would effectively be an SEC-approved ICO for the INX token, which will offer users promotional discounts on the INX trading platform/
π Andrew Yang calls for blockchain voting
Andrew Yang is a 2020 presidential candidate known for his positive views on cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. He’s already made numerous pledges to support the clarification of cryptocurrency regulatory matters if elected.
In his latest blockchain-related pledge, Yang has called to modernize US voting using the blockchain. He writes that “It is 100% technically possible to have fraud-proof voting on our mobile phones today using the blockchain.”
π Libra Association allegedly under investigation
Facebook’s cryptocurrency, Libra, has come under much criticism since its announcement earlier this year. Officials from governments around the world — including the United States and France — have already expressed their concerns.
However, a document seen by Bloomberg suggests that the Libra Association is already under investigation by the European Commission for anti-competitive behaviors.
