👉 Korean Presidential Committee Calls for Crypto Legal Status

The Presidential Committee on the 4th Industrial Revolution has recommended that the Korean government give cryptocurrencies legal status in the country.

The committee expressed worry that policies initially designed to protect investors are stifling Korea’s participation in the blockchain industry.

The recommendation comes just days after Chinese president Xi Jinping’s national call for blockchain acceptance in China.
