👉 Kraken Relaunches Trading Services in Japan 

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has finally relaunched trading services for Japanese customers, after two years.

Kraken shut down its service in Japan in 2018, as regulations in the country tightened following a $530 million hack of another cryptocurrency exchange.

The reopening to Japan is part of a larger move by Kraken to expand into the Asia-Pacific region.

CoinShares CSO Meltem Demirors has stated that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if PayPal launched their own digital currency within the next 6-12 months.
