Facebook’s cryptocurrency is facing yet another hurdle, this time involving push-back from G7 nations.

The G7 group of countries believe that the risks associated with global stablecoins need to be addressed before they can be permitted to go ahead.

The Libra Association have responded by saying that they intend to work closely with regulators.

Leaks have shown that Bank of Canada officials have been exploring the idea of a national cryptocurrency.
