👉 Facebook’s Libra Finalizes 21-Member Council

Facebook’s Libra project has announced its 21-member council, lacking many of the big names seen in the initial 28-company lineup.

A meeting was held with all of the remaining members in Geneva, where the companies formally signed onto Libra’s governance association.

Some notable names remaining include Lyft, Uber, Spotify, and Vodafone.

👉 Russia To Adopt New Cryptocurrency Legislation

The Ministry of Finance in Russia has proposed a new three-tier classification system for cryptocurrencies.

The three tiers have been categorized as “virtual assets”, “technical tokens” and “digital finance assets”. The bill will be enacted or scrapped by November 1st of this year.

👉 Grayscale’s Crypto Security Wins US Approval

Prominent cryptocurrency asset company Grayscale have won approval by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for its Digital Large Cap Fund.

The fund consists of 80% Bitcoin, 9.9% Ether, and the rest Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Ripple.
