👉 McDonald’s and Starbucks to Test China’s New Digital Currency
It has been reported that 19 restaurants and retail stores – including McDonald’s and Starbucks – will be participating in testing China’s new central bank digital currency.
The 19 companies are part of a wider pilot program for the currency known as DC/EP, which will also involve four state-owned banks, Tencent and Ant Financial.
