Cryptocurrency tokens connected to Metaverse projects have rallied following Facebook’s rebrand to “Meta”, as the sector gains a new wave of global attention.
Facebook made the announcement at their digital event, Connect 21, via a presentation that was over an hour long.
Decentraland’s MANA token in particular attracted a 49% gain price gain within a day after the announcement. MANA powers the project’s virtual world.

Burger King will be giving away cryptocurrency to US loyalty program customers, when they spend more than $5 via the Burger King app.
