👉 MiCA Regulation Passes European Council Vote
The European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation has passed the European Council, with one step left before it reaches complete approval.
On October 10, the regulation must pass through one more vote in European Parliament, which will then see an adaptation period of at least a year, then finally into effect in 2024.
MiCA seeks to regulate the issuance of cryptocurrencies across the EU, with particularly tight restrictions on stablecoin issuance.

Hamilton Lane, an investment management firm with $832.5 billion in assets under management, is moving to tokenize three of its funds via digital asset securities firm, Securitize.
The company is making the move in order to make private market investment available to a wider range of investors, targeting individuals rather than solely institutions.
