👉 Newegg bringing BTC payments to 73 countries

Newegg is a major online electronic retailer, based out of California. With over 2.6 billion in revenue in 2016, the company is no small fish. In 2014, Newegg began accepting Bitcoin payments in the US, and later extended this option to Canada.

Now, Newegg has made the decision to accept Bitcoin payments in a further 73 countries, reveals their President of Global Sales, Anthony Chow.

👉 Justin Sun apologizes to regulators for over-marketing

Justin Sun is the Founder and CEO of TRON, a very controversial cryptocurrency project. He’s recently been featured in the news (and in this newsletter), following rumors that China had banned him from leaving the country.

Sun has apologized to “regulators” in a public message on one of his social media accounts. He says he may have “over-marketed” his upcoming meeting with billionaire Warren Buffet.

Charlie Lee recently criticized DASH on Twitter for hosting an instamine — in other words, a period during which mining of a cryptocurrency is much faster than it should be.

Lee quickly deleted his Tweet after another user provided evidence that Litecoin underwent a similar, insta-mining phase.
