Ripple is suing YouTube over fake XRP giveaway scams, claiming that the platform failed to protect its users from the schemes.

Scammers on YouTube impersonated Ripple executives and lured viewers into participating in a fake giveaway, which prompted them to send XRP to the scammer’s address.

Ripple claim that enabling the scams harmed the reputation of both Ripple as a company, and the executives which were impersonated.

👉 Tether Printing Reaches $600M USDT in Less Than One Month

Tether prints of its USDT token have topped $600 million in the last month of activity, following its most recent $120 million print on Tuesday.

Although Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino has Tweeted that the latest print is for “inventory replenishment”, some continue to theorize that the printed USDT tokens are not backed by real cash reserves.

The Central Bank of Argentina is reportedly testing a blockchain-based inter-bank settlement system, designed to clear payments between local banks and other financial firms.
