👉 SEC Threatens Coinbase With Lawsuit Over Lending Service

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has threatened to sue crypto exchange Coinbase, over the platform’s proposed “Lend” service.

Coinbase revealed the information in a blog post today, claiming that the company had repeatedly attempted to engage with the SEC over the Lend product, to no avail.

The SEC has refused to share the reasoning behind the lawsuit, leaving Coinbase and the wider cryptocurrency community stumped at the seemingly hostile move.
