It has been a relatively quiet 24 hours; that is until 2 hours ago, when Bitcoin shot up over $200 pulling the entire market up several percent. In fact, Cardano (ADA, #7) is the only top-10 coin that isn’t up today.

Sticking to the more known coins, Ethereum Classic, IOTA, Monero, and NEO have all done well today — up by more than 4%. Syscoin, which is featured in today’s stories, stands at rank 76 after shooting up over 6.5%.

The latest of these is San Francisco Blockchain Week, which is an entire week of cryptocurrency and blockchain presentations and workshops starting on the 5th of October 2018.

Syscoin investigates sale of token for 96 BTC

Syscoin is a lesser-known token that’s had everyone’s interest piqued for the last week, and it’s centred around a peer-to-peer global marketplace product.

Yesterday, a Syscoin token sold on Binance for 96 BTC — the equivalent of $6 million — which has had both the Syscoin and Binance teams frantically investigating.

ELIX app submitted to Apple and Google Play stores

Elixir (ELIX, #537) is somewhat of an underdog in the crypto world. The project combines cryptocurrency foundations with crowdfunding and lending to create an all-in-one financial platform.

The team’s first app has just been submitted to the Apple and Google Play stores for review. If accepted, this could mean a significant spike in adoption for the coin.
