👉 Short Bitcoin Funds See Record Inflows Of $10M

Investors have invested $10 million into short-bitcoin funds, while long-bitcoin funds experienced significant outflows for the third straight week, according to data from CoinShares.

Digital-asset investment products saw minor outflows of $2 million. The shift towards short funds has been attributed to nervousness amongst US investors, caused by strong macro data releases and sensitivity to regulatory crackdowns.

Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor has announced that it will start producing its own wallet silicon chips to accelerate the production of new Trezor wallets.

The move aims to significantly optimize the production process and reduce lead times in the supply cycle from two years to several months, as well as eliminate delays in shipping finished products. It also seeks to protect consumers from exposure to price fluctuations based on component supply and demand.

Additionally, the new business model will enable more design freedom for Trezor’s future products, allowing the wallet provider to build the hardware wallet devices from scratch.

👉 Coinbase To Halt BUSD Trading, Citing Listing Standards

Coinbase is suspending Binance USD (BUSD) trading as of March 13, explaining that the token no longer meets its listing standards following a recent review.

Customers will be able to access and withdraw their BUSD, however trading will be suspended across all Coinbase platforms. The news comes after the SEC’s recent Wells notice to Paxos, which alleged BUSD has been listed as an unregistered security.
