The South African Reserve Bank has drafted a plan to prevent the use of cryptocurrency for evading the country’s currency controls.

The new rules are due to be implemented in the first quarter of 2020, and follow a bank clamp-down on cryptocurrency firms.

👉 SoftBank Group Releases Crypto Wallet Card

SoftBank, a major Japanese holding company, has released a cryptocurrency payment card, which will enable users to store and spend a variety of digital assets.

The cards feature an LED screen, micro battery, and a WiFi receiver which can connect the card to the internet. When disconnected from the internet, the card acts as a cold wallet, similar to hardwallets currently available on the market.
