The move will be the first time in four years that Stripe has provided such a feature, which was initially removed due to high network fees and slow transaction times. The company has acknowledged that the Lightning Network has provided a solution to those problems.

Stripe’s app providing the feature is expected to launch within a few weeks’ time.
