Stephen Moore – nominated by Trump to join the Federal Reserve just this year – has decided to launch his own stablecoin named “Frax”.

The coin will be pegged to the US dollar, and will rely on a fractional reserve system. Moore and his partners plan to make a formal announcement on the project soon.

👉 Opera Browser Now Accepts Crypto Payments

Popular Android browser Opera has added support for Bitcoin payments, in its latest update.

The browser now features a built-in cryptocurrency wallet, which will allow Android users to send and receive Bitcoins.

iOS users of the Opera app also have a version of the app with a cryptocurrency wallet, which was released in June.

👉 Miner Manufacturer Opens World’s Largest Mining Facility

Bitmain, the Chinese miner-manufacturing giant, have opened the world’s largest Bitcoin mining facility, in Texas, USA.

The facility was built in cooperation with the local municipal development district, and DMG Blockchain Solutions. It is built on a 33,000 acre site, and claims to have potential for a future capacity of 300MW.
