👉 UpBit Hack Confirmed, Over 340,000 Ethereum Coins Stolen

UpBit official Lee Seok-Woo has confirmed that yesterday’s unexpected move of $79m in exchange user funds was indeed the result of a hack.

The exchange has stated that it will cover lost funds with corporate assets, and that all assets currently held in hot wallets has been moved into cold storage.

Deposits and withdrawals on UpBit have been halted, and may take over two weeks to resume.
