The cryptocurrency markets are mostly down today, with Bitcoin and Ethereum dropping around one and a half percent since this time yesterday. EOS (#5) is the only top-ten coin in the green, although it’s up by less than a third of a percent.
In terms of big movers, Waves (#37) and Siacoin (SC, #31) are up by 10.35% and 6.43% respectively, although VeChain is down 7.39% despite recent progress.

VeChainThor testnet released
VeChain (VEN, #16) is a leading enterprise-focused blockchain solution, although so far it’s just been an ERC20 token — which means it’s been piggybacking off of the Ethereum blockchain.
VeChain have been working hard to develop their own network, and earlier today, the first tangible product of all that work — VeChainThor — was released to the public for testing.
Bithumb cleared of legal charges
Bithumb is Korea’s primary cryptocurrency exchange; it’s number 7 across the world by volume, and has seen over US $240 million of volume over the last 24 hours.
Earlier this year, Bithumb was targeted by South Korean authorities over concerns of illegal activity, primarily: tax evasion. However, the National Tax Services announced yesterday that no illegal activities were found to have taken place.
