Following three weeks of protests and riots, Uzbekistan has made it illegal to purchase cryptocurrency. Selling crypto, however, has remained legal.
The move is a drastic change to recent legislation, which legalized cryptocurrency in 2018.

The NULS development team has fallen victim to a hack, resulting in the loss of $480,000 worth of funds. According to the team, about $130k of this has already been liquidated on exchanges.
The team has announced that it will attempt a hard fork of the NULS chain, in order to freeze the remainder of stolen funds.
