There’s little movement in the cryptocurrency market today. While the majority of top coins are in the negative, it’s not by much. Bitcoin, for example, is down less than 0.5%, while Ethereum is down 1%. Among the top-20 cryptocurrencies, only two of them are up today: DASH and Stellar — by 2.5% and 3.5% each.

Volkswagen confirms crypto use in cars

Worldwide car manufacturer Volkswagen has taken a large interest in cryptocurrencies, going so far as to partner with the IOTA foundation earlier this year.

It seems the interest is genuine, as Volkswagen has just released a Tweet saying they’re “bringing blockchain systems to the road”, with uses including “filling the tank” and “unlocking your car”. The Tweet included hashtags #bitcoin, #ethereum, and #iota.

B-Ex.io scamming new users

B-Ex.io is a little-known exchange that’s been gaining popularity for its selection of new altcoins that still haven’t made it to the more major exchanges, like Binance or Bittrex.

However, a Reddit user reported yesterday that the exchange is scamming users out of their deposits, adding his own experience of how he lost $75,000 to the shady business.

Bosch wants to “intensify collaboration with IOTA Foundation”

Among IOTA’s partners is the very impressive name Bosch, which is known across the world for its household appliances and car parts. But what interest do they take in IOTA?

A Twitter user asked them that question, to which they replied “Bosch here is not concerned with the cryptocurrency as such, the company wishes to intensify its collaboration with the IOTA Foundation, a non-profit open-source organization based in Germany.”
