Wikipedia has joined the Brave platform as a Verified Publisher. This means that it’ll be able to receive BAT tips from over 7 million users of the Brave internet browser.

The last few years have seen cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology slowly enter the mainstream consciousness. Some of the first organizations to pick-up on the technology were educational ones, like colleges and universities.

A survey by Coinbase shows that 56% of the world’s top-50 universities now offer cryptocurrency classes, up from last year’s 42%.
